This the day, This is the day
That the Lord has made, that the lord has made
I will rejoice, I will rjoice
And be glad in it, and be glad in it.

This is the day, that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is the day, this is the day, that the Lord has made.

Okay that's my praise song of the day.

Hey Sis. Sorry I totally missed this on yesterday, but I am taking a workshop for a few weeks and was out of my zone. Plus Kiersten held me hostage for hours, lol.

How are things going in Uganda?, hope I spelled that right. I read what that pastor had to say and I can tell they were more than excited and blessed to be able to worship Our God in song with you. I pray many seeds were planted and hearts were turned over to Him.

Things around these parts are ok, but could be better. But I guess that just means we got lots of work to yet do. You take very good care of yourself and tell your crew to do the same.

Love you much, Ya big sis.

I agree Margarita. I'm tired of seeing girls with skin hanging out. it just doesn't look good. in my opinion it makes it look like girls r trying to hard. i think it's hard for girls like myself and girls in general for that matter to respect ourselves b/c we r constantly being bombarded with models, the media's pressure to be thin, the magazines and everything else. it's just good to know that there is someone out there like nicole who's not afraid to take a stand for what's right and encourage girls to be modest and dress appropriately. talk at ya'll later

Dear Nicole,

I hope everything is going well for you today. I pray that God will put a protective hedge around you/your family/crew/ministy...and that God continues to work through you to touch lives - to reach people that seemed unreachable...and that through your music, God will begin to break down walls, building bridges instead. Remember to "Love the Lord God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind," and no matter what He will lead you in the right direction. I ask that God give you a renewing of mind, body, and spirit, and that sometimes He will grant you a spirit of REST (not meaning sleep, but yes that too Smile)..

I pray that if there any hard decisions that are coming up before you, that God will give you the wisdom to make the right choice.

Jer 29:11

"If God is for you, who then can be against you?"

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww see right now I am sooo sweepy, that's sleepy in sleepy talk, Thanks Kiersten for having my back and supporting my Sister.

I do love you Nicole, but God loves you more.

'Nite Kiersten.

Awesome testimony, It is truly amazing. I would ordinarily come to encourage Nicole, but today reading that has encouraged me and I know when Nicole reads it, it might just leave a smile in her heart and on her lips.

Take care my lil sis and I will be back, on that you can be sure.

Love you much, Ya big sis.

This blessed me today, so I am posting it for us all as well as Nicole. Hope it can be of help to someone.

Staying Pure

"How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word and following its rules. I have tried my best to find you—don't let me wander from your commands. I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."

Psalm 119:9-11 NLT

Piling on

"In the game of football it's called "piling on": You're already down when suddenly you get pummeled again by your opponent. In real life it's called spiritual warfare, and it's often disguised. You're suffering through a hard time when suddenly the enemy comes at you with what actually looks like relief.

Ah, how vulnerable we are in such moments! After all I've had to endure lately, I think I deserve a little break! How easy it is to rationalize! Would it really be so wrong for me to ________? Why not?

Of course, this is the nature of temptation. On the front end, sin looks "heavenly." On the back side, it is always hellish and makes bad situations worse.

Our only hope is in living out the promise that God's Word can keep us from sin. By filling our hearts and minds with the truth of God's Word, we are able to recognize the enemy's lies. That is how we stay pure in hard, tempting times (see Matthew 4:1-11). It is how we avoid Satan's deceptive attempts to hit us again when we're down.

Praying God's Promise:
God, when I hide your Word in my heart, I can keep from sinning! Grant me the wisdom to seek you and to hide your Word in my heart. I need discernment to apply your truth to everyday situations, especially when I am going through difficult times.

Content is derived from the Holy Bible, New Living Translation and other publications of Tyndale Publishing House

Hey Nicole sweetie, how are you this Lord's day? Well I just got home from a church we had to sing at. We did two songs and there were 2 other choirs and a soloist on program as well. I at first did not want to go, I was tired and wanted to rest, but I upheld my responsibility and you konw what? I was soo blessed. Had I stayed home I would have missed out, I am grateful, god kept me faithful.

Now how was your day? Sometimes when I am writing you, I wonder if people on here or you think I am like, hmmmm shall I say nuts, cause I am talking and typing on a computer and not talking directly to you. But even still I want to continue to be a blessing to you and anyone else. So many have poured into my life and you are one of them so it's my small way of giving back.

Earlier I was having a rough time so with this afternoon and coming here, I feel soooo much better. You continue to have a wonderful day and I WILL be back here at another time to talk to, lol you.

Love you much, Ya big sis.

So anyways, my point is that I'm prayin that whatever the devil tries to throw in your way to try and mess things up, that God will give you the wisdom to recognize it and the strength to overcome it...

I keep on thinkin of the day that I will get to say "thank you" in real life instead of just on here for all the things you allow the Lord to do through you. Smile

I had heard about her on the end of some christian cd I had had on a hidden track and when the announcer said her name it was so muffled I couldn't even make out what he had said...but I thought it was "Nicole Mullen"...(some person I had never heard of in my entire sheltered life)...so it's funny that I would have heard THAT name, when in reality he had said a whole different name.

So, as soon as I could I ran to the store, got some of Nicole's music, ran back home, popped it into my cd player, and fell in love with her voice, but most of all, her message and what she stands for. What can I say? God is good and for some reason He wanted me to hear what she had to say.

Jer 29:11

thats cool its good you heard of her or you wouldnt be here! Wink

Hey Sis, how are you today? I was thinking of you and you know what they say? When someone is on your mind then either call or tell them you were thinking of them. So here is my call to you.

I pray all has gone well for you so far today and that the rest of your day is blessed.

How are the kids and the rest of the family. I am doing pretty good, but it could be better. Then again it could be worse, so I am not complaining.

Well I willl talk to you later on, ok.

Love you much, Ya big sis.

Hey Nicole sweetheart. I know I have not posted in a few days or so, but you know how running around making final preparations for a trip can be. I am slowly but surely getting all my ducks in a row until I arrive at the Sheraton. I am getting in sooo early in the morning though, but hey it will be worth it.

I hope you are doing well since it's been a minute since I have seen you here. I spent the better part of the day in the grocery store and at a friends house but we were dragging five little ones with us. After she left with hers and I got mine home, I was exausted.

What have you been working on lately. Any new developements we can check out, hear, view? I know I am always asking huh. I just want to make sure I am on the up and up when things hit the press. How is the weather there in Nashville, should I bring a coat or shall I just wing it? OK, imma hush at least for a minute, lol.

Love ya Much, Ya big sis.

THREE BULLETS

There once was a man who had nothing for his family to eat. He had an old rifle and three bullets. So, he decided that he would go out
hunting and kill some wild game for dinner.

As he went down the road, he saw a rabbit. He shot at the rabbit and missed it. The rabbit ran away.

Then he saw a squirrel and fired a shot at the squirrel and missed it. The squirrel disappeared into a hole in a cottonwood tree.

As he went further, he saw a large wild turkey up in a tree, but he had only one bullet remaining. A voice spoke to him and said, "Pray first, aim high and stay focused." However, at the same time, he saw a deer which would provide more meat than the turkey. He brought the gun down and aimed at the deer. But, then he saw a rattlesnake between his legs about to bite him, so he naturally brought the gun down further to shoot the rattlesnake. Still, the voice again said to him, "Pray first, aim
high and stay focused."

So, the man decided to listen to God's voice. He prayed, then aimed the gun high up in the tree, and shot the wild turkey. The bullet went into the turkey, deflected off a bone and hit the deer, killing it. When the gun fired, it knocked the man off balance, he stepped on the
rattlesnake's head which killed it and fell backwards into a pond. When he stood up to look around, he had fish in all his pockets, a deer and a turkey with which to feed his family. The snake was dead simply because the man listened to God.

Moral of the story:
Keep God first and everything else will follow.

Pray first before you do anything. Aim high in your goals, and stay focused on God. Never let people or things discourage you concerning
your past. Do not look to man for your blessings, but look only to God.
